Rekindling Hope, One School at a Time

In 2025, through Pallikoodam, our annual Back-to-School initiative led by the Compassion Club DAYA, we reached seven schools across Wayanad, Alappuzha, and Trivandrum. We were able to support over 430 students with essential kits to help them begin their academic year with confidence.

This year’s outreach reflected the very real needs of the communities we serve. In Wayanad, where floods once again delayed the start of the school year for many children, our support came at a time when a fresh start meant everything. Each kit was not just a bundle of supplies, but a symbol of care and encouragement.
In the coastal districts of Alappuzha and the diverse communities of Trivandrum, our efforts continued with the same spirit. Working alongside school authorities, our teams ensured that the kits reached children who needed them most. We believe these small steps can create lasting impact by helping students return to school with hope.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to every Experionite who contributed to this initiative. Your time, donations, and enthusiasm turned a simple school drive into a meaningful act of giving.

Pallikoodam remains a reflection of our values as an organization. It is a reminder that compassion, when put into action, has the power to open doors and uplift futures.

Celebrating Compassion and Community

Pallikoodam 2024, in its sixth glorious year, has once again lit up the lives of many young students. Driven by DAYA, Experion’s Compassion Club, this initiative is about more than just school supplies; it’s about recognizing that every child deserves the chance to learn and grow.

Our journey this year took us to RGM LPS in Cherukara, GT LPS in Idappana, GT LPS in Villumala, GT LPS in Kadamancode, GUPS Rosemala, Govt. LPS Karavoor, GLPS Padanilam in Cherayankeezhu, GLPS Parumathura, GUPS Bheemapalli, and Govt HA LP School Vizhinjam. At each school, the children’s smiles were a touching reminder of the impact of this effort.

The true essence of Pallikoodam 2024 lies in the empathy and dedication of Experionites. They went beyond mere donations, offering their time and presence, connecting with the students, and sharing in their happiness. Experion understands that education is a right, not a privilege. Our aim is to ensure every child steps into school feeling confident and ready, giving them a fair chance at their dreams.

Reflecting on this year’s Pallikoodam, we feel immense pride and gratitude. The support and active participation of Experionites have turned our shared empathy into meaningful action. As we continue this legacy of compassion, we strive to make sure every child has the opportunity to shine brightly.

Pallikoodam 2023 : A Heart-warming Mission

In June 2023, members of DAYA, Experion’s compassion club, journeyed to a remote tribal school named GTHS in Kannampady. Amidst the wilderness of the Idukki Wildlife Sanctuary, GTHS stands as the sole beacon of primary education for nearly 200 families in the nearby vicinity. This 67 year old institution is nestled in a secluded setting with accessibility provided by a single private service bus from Valakode making two daily trips. With hearts full of joy and school supplies held tightly in our hands, we embarked on our Pallikoodam initiative, eager to meet and greet the students of GTHS on their school reopening day.

Reaching GTHS was no ordinary feat, as it required an off-road journey of 15 kilometers through a dense forest that is also an elephant corridor. Despite the rugged terrain and narrow pathways posing significant challenges during our travel, the journey was more than just overcoming obstacles; it exemplified one of our core values – empathy.

Year after year, fueled by a shared passion, DAYA takes up the cherished cause of ‘Pallikoodam,’ steadfast in our commitment to spreading happiness and providing support to deserving children. This year, we focused on the tribal communities in dire need, guided by the invaluable insights of the Director of Public Instructions (DPI) Jeevan Babu. With the support of Deputy Director of Education, Bindu, we identified 14 deserving schools, including GTLPS Uppukunnu, GTLPS Naliyani, GTUPS Pathipally, GTHS Valakode, GTHS Kannampady, GTHSS Murikkattukudy, GTHS Chakkupallam, GTHSS Kumily, GTLPS Champakkad, GTLPS Champakathozhu, GTLPS Aruvilamchal, GLPS Pettimudy, and GTLPS Edamalakkudy, where our support could make a significant impact.

With the incredible dedication and generosity of the entire Experion family, Pallikoodam 2023 came to life. Over 3000 students received bags, umbrellas, and essential school supplies, empowering them to embrace their educational journey confidently.

For us, the driving force behind the 5th year of this initiative was indeed the hopeful eyes and curious smiles we met along the way and the joy of giving back to society was its own reward. The success of Pallikoodam 2023 only strengthened our resolve to continue our journey of compassion, hoping that our efforts will inspire others to create ripples of kindness in the lives of others.

Experion has successfully impacted over 1400 families and 11 schools in Kerala as part of the Pallikoodam 2022 initiative by DAYA, the compassion club.

Through our DAYA club initiative ‘Pallikoodam’, we have successfully raised funds to provide school supplies to underprivileged students in various schools in Kerala.

This year under the Pallikoodam 2022 initiative by DAYA, the compassion club of Experion, several schools from across the state have reached out to us for assistance. Covid has put many families in dire financial straits, and our assistance turned out to be a true blessing for many. We have provided them with school kits, which include a school bag, umbrella, lunch box, pencil box, water bottle, and other items. Our employee force has confirmed their participation and shown immense support towards the cause.

Through this program, we aimed to assist and restore the confidence of students to make their learning experience joyful while aligned with our CSR guiding principle “Wind Beneath Their Wings.”

Experion contributes to the construction of a library for St. Mary’s English School in Pathanamthitta

A library, also known as the “gateway to knowledge,” plays an important role in preserving a nation’s historical, political, and sociocultural heritage. Experion has made a generous contribution to this worthy cause by assisting in the construction of a library for St. Mary’s English School in Kuzhikala, Pathanamthitta.

The creation of this library is a successful outcome of the DAYA club’s ‘Build a Library’ initiative, which involved every Experionite donating books to help build the library.

St. Mary’s School, which has classes from LKG to Class VII, is in Kuzhikala, a remote village in Pathanamthitta District. The DAYA club, in collaboration with the school administration, successfully launched the library on August 11, 2022.
