Raising user adoption & market acceptance for gaming startup

The Client

The customer is a US-based early-stage organization, well-reputed for their innovative & patented gaming software solution. Their software development kit (SDK) is integrated by developers into gaming software and apps to increase user-base. This solution helps users compete against each other for cash prizes.

Within a short span of existence, the company has been able to get themselves noticed as a promising new venture in the gaming software space. Their USP lies in a solution that allows users to collect cash as incentive to play and win, as opposed to virtual motivators, thus creating an enhanced user experience and gamification element.

Challenges

The client had partnered with a different vendor for the solution. This was before Experion, and they were not happy with the outcome. The integration tool had not been in a position to be released, owing to an obvious failure of the software. Creating a library plugin that can be integrated with any game code without affecting the performance of the games had also been a challenge. This is when they decided to approach Experion.

Experion Role

Experion started off with a relatively insignificant patch for the client. After the first project, however, we moved on to build the entire Software Development Kit (SDK) from scratch. The customer was satisfied with the end results, leading us to also start working on the iOS and Android versions, from where we moved to developing the PC and mobile app versions of the software.
